 SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME

School Induction is a program designed to help beginning teachers to bridge the gap between teaching as a student teacher and as a responsible teacher who works for students. The sole purpose of Initiatory school experience is to give student-teachers hands-on experience in a school. This program lasts five days, allowing trainees to get familiar with the school environment and school activities. During this time, student-teachers will observe lessons from senior teachers, meet students to learn about their backgrounds and interests, check out learning facilities, and observe the school's social atmosphere. Each student-teacher has to engage 3 lessons individually or as Shared Practice. Student-teachers must keep a detailed diary of their experiences. After the school experience, there will be a reflection session at the college.

PLANNING

As per B.Ed curriculum the school induction program have been planned to conduct from 21/10/2024 to 25/10/2024. I have opted Jawahar HSS Ayoor. We total 6 students from three departments were allotted to this school. Principal Roy sir and our Sreedevi miss gave instructions for the school induction program. Each group of students to different school has a selected leader to handover request and attendance register to the school Headmaster. 

MY EXPECTATIONS

I am excited to experience the school environment and take on teaching responsibilities. I hope the induction program will be valuable, providing me with plenty of experience and confidence in interacting with students. I look forward to improving my weaknesses and changing any flaws during this program. I am expecting the best from this week.

  TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
