 INAGURATION OF IQAC CELL

On 22nd November 2024, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was inaugurated at the General Hall of Sabarigiri College of Education. This initiative marked a significant step in fostering the academic, personal, and emotional growth of students through a structured counseling program. The event highlighted the vital role of IQAC Counseling in addressing students' concerns like stress, anxiety, and academic challenges, while promoting holistic development and well-being. The program commenced with Anchor Keerthi, who invited me, Arathi, to deliver the welcome speech. It was an honor to welcome our esteemed chief guest, Anjali Krishna T, an experienced counselor and Assistant Professor in Psychology. I also extended a warm welcome to our Principal, Roy Sir, the IQAC Convener, Meenu Miss, and the Counseling Convener, Sreedevi Miss. Following the welcome address, our Principal and Sreedevi Miss shared their insights on the significance of this initiative. 

The session by Anjali Krishna T was the highlight of the day. She addressed key issues like stress, anxiety, and exam fear, which are common challenges students face today. Her session was engaging, informative, and interactive, leaving the audience enlightened and motivated. She concluded with some practical brain exercises, adding a fun yet meaningful touch to the session. After the session, our Principal, Roy Sir, presented a memento to Anjali Mam as a token of appreciation on behalf of the college and Union Druta. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Prathibha, who expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. The inauguration of the IQAC Cell and the session by Anjali Mam were both enriching and impactful, setting the stage for a more supportive and student-centered environment at our institution.

  TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
