SUBJECT ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY
Subject activity helps the students to know about the importance of the subject. These activities provides co-operation among the students participated in these activities. It helps to develop the creativity of the students. The students will get an organizational capacity. These activities give new knowledge about the subject and give information about various things.
Subject association activity contain a collection of activities from a global library that would be performed on a common subject. Students learn through their participation and processing it by solving problem and articulating what they have discussed. This will help a lot in developing self confidence and presentation skills.

WORLD ORGAN DONATION DAY

We observed World Organ Donation Day on August 13 , Tuesday between 12 PM to 1 PM. World organ donation day is not just about raising awareness but also about fostering a culture of giving and saving lives. It is under the slogan, " Be the reason for someone's smile".
The program was anchored by Muhsina Sulaiman. I gave an introduction on Organ Donation Day, while Ameena Navas presented its history. The theme was explained by Pooja B.I., and the logo was presented by Nuju Fathima. Anuroop spoke about the various schemes, and Aparna delivered the pledge. The poster presentation was done by Akshaya S and the vote of thanks was given by Arya A.S. Special thanks to our Head of the Department, Sreedevi Miss, for her support.
SUBJECT ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY-2
WORLD MOSQUITO DAY
20-08-2024,Tuesday
Our class teacher Sreedevi Miss instructed us to conduct subject association activity on world mosquito day. All the nine teacher trainee of our Natural Science class under the guidance from Sreedevi Miss together planned the activity. Anchoring was the duty assigned to Ameena, introduction by Akshaya and logo presentation by Anuroop. Nuju raised some awareness, detailed description on the diseases was given by Muhsina and the theme "Accelerating the fight against malaria for more equitable world" was presented by Aparna. I presented a poster on the awareness of mosquito day and concluded by Pooja by vote of thanks.

NUTRITION WEEK

The national nutrition week is a global health care event focused on nutrition. The month of September is being celebrated as nutrition month in the country to improve the nutritional status of children, adolescent girls and women. The subject association activity on Nutrition Week was decided to observe on September 9, Monday between 2 PM and 3 PM at college general hall.
We observed Nutrition Week 2024 with an engaging program that highlighted the importance of healthy diets. As the anchor, I welcomed everyone and invited Nuju to deliver the welcome speech. Our Principal, Dr. Roy Sir, gave the presidential address, setting the tone for the event. Pooja provided an introduction to Nutrition Week, and Akshaya presented the theme for 2024: "Nutritious Diets for Everyone." Aparna shared the slogan, and Arya presented the logo for the week. We performed a musical skit titled "Mummy Akkuna Yummykal," which highlighted the importance of nutrition through humorous parody songs. The skit portrayed a lively competition between healthy foods and junk foods, making the message both fun and impactful. Additionally, we presented a self-made video on the significance of the food plate, which featured our own team as the cast. The video was skillfully filmed and edited by Anuroop. Muhsina then conducted a quiz session featuring pairs of students from each department. Shamnad and Reeba from the Social Science Department emerged as the winners. Next, we hosted a tasting game, where Gloria and Soorya from the English Department participated and successfully guessed the ingredients. Dr. Roy Sir awarded prizes to both the tasting game participants and our Sreedevi miss awarded prizes for the winners of quiz. To promote the theme of healthy living, we gave big, healthy bananas as prizes. The program concluded with Ameena delivering the vote of thanks. Every teacher trainee participated enthusiastically. A special thanks to Sreedevi Miss for her unwavering support, and gratitude to Dr. Roy Sir and all our fellow friends for their contributions. As teachers, it is our duty to take necessary steps for a healthier tomorrow.
