Convocation Day at Sabarigiri College of Education

On August 29, 2024, Sabarigiri College of Education celebrated its Convocation Day with pride, joy, and a sense of accomplishment. The event marked the culmination of years of hard work and dedication, as graduates gathered to celebrate their academic journey and embrace new beginnings.

The day began at 10 AM in the School Auditorium with a soulful prayer song by the college choir, setting a serene and reflective tone. A solemn procession of graduates and faculty members followed, symbolizing unity and the shared pride of the institution. Dr. G. Roy, the college principal, extended a warm welcome to all attendees. This was followed by an inspiring inaugural address by Dr. V.K. Jayakumar, the founder of the Sabarigiri Group of Institutions, who reflected on the significance of education and the responsibilities of future educators. Adding to the inspirational atmosphere, Dr. Sabareesh Jayakumar delivered a powerful keynote address, leaving the audience motivated and reflective. A special moment in the ceremony was the felicitation of Mr. Arun Divakar for his remarkable contributions, underscoring the college’s tradition of celebrating excellence. The highlight of the day was the conferring of degrees, with department heads presenting certificates to proud graduates. The moment was made even more meaningful with an oath-taking ceremony, led by Dr. G. Roy, urging the graduates to uphold the values and ethics of their profession.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by graduate representative Mr. Thalhath, who expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the day memorable. A photo session followed, capturing the joy, pride, and triumph of the graduates and their loved ones. Convocation Day at Sabarigiri College of Education was more than just a ceremony—it was a celebration of achievements, a testament to the power of perseverance, and a launchpad for new aspiration.

  TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
