Celebrating the 78th Independence Day

15 AUGUST, 2024

Our college proudly celebrated the 78th Independence Day on August 15th and 16th, 2024, with great enthusiasm and patriotism.

The festivities began on August 15th with the flag hoisting by our Chairman, Dr. V.K. Jayakumar. The national anthem and patriotic songs filled the air, instilling a deep sense of pride among students, teachers, and staff. The celebration continued on August 16th with various programs, including speeches, quizzes, and group songs. Students from both first-year and second-year classes actively participated, showcasing their talents and knowledge of India’s rich history and freedom struggle. The event concluded with a sweet distribution, symbolizing the joy of freedom and unity. It was a meaningful celebration, reminding us of the sacrifices of our national heroes and the importance of preserving the values of independence.

  TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. This task was a new learning experience for me, as I wasn’t previously aware that a separate register existed specifically for noon feeding attendance. I successfully completed both registers. VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
