On the afternoon of September 24, 2024, our college celebrated NSS Day with an engaging program titled "Ice Breaking," designed to introduce students to the National Service Scheme (NSS) and its significance. The session was led by our guest, Dileep Sir, a former teacher of the college with extensive experience in NSS.
The program, hosted by NSS volunteer Riya Samson, began with the NSS song by Pooja, Alaka and me , creating a unifying atmosphere. Prathibha Miss delivered a warm welcome speech, highlighting the importance of NSS and the purpose of the event. Dileep Sir took the stage and provided an insightful introduction to NSS, explaining its objectives and benefits. He taught different types of NSS claps. His talk was followed by interactive activities aimed at fostering team spirit, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Students enthusiastically participated, making the session lively and impactful. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by NSS volunteer Pooja B I, who expressed gratitude to Dileep Sir, the teachers, and the students. As a token of appreciation, Sreedevi Miss presented a memento to Dileep Sir, marking the end of a successful and memorable program. There was sweet distribution after session.
