Sabarigiri College of Education celebrated its Sports Day with great enthusiasm on August 23, 2024. The entire event was meticulously organized by the first-year B.Ed. students, showcasing their planning and coordination skills.

The day began at 8:30 AM with the 800 m race, setting an energetic tone for the event. Following this, the inauguration ceremony took place, marking the official start of the celebrations. Prayer, welcome speech, inaugural address, pledge were held at college ground. A series of exciting athletic events, including the 100 m, 400 m, and 800 m races, the 4 × 100 m relay, shot put, cricket ball throw, and sitting broad jump, kept the audience captivated throughout the day. The highlight of the event was the thrilling Dodge Ball match, a minor game that added a touch of fun and excitement to the proceedings. Points were tallied across three teams—Earth, Fire, and Water. Team Earth emerged as the overall champion, with Team Water as the first runner-up and Team Fire securing the second runner-up position.

Our seniors displayed remarkable sportsmanship and competitiveness, making the day even more memorable. The event concluded with Roy Sir and the faculty distributing certificates and medals to the winners, celebrating their achievements. The day wrapped up at 4:00 PM. It was a vibrant celebration of teamwork and sportsmanship.

  TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
