WORLD CEREBRAL PALSY DAY

07-10-2024,Monday

World cerebral palsy day is celebrated annually on October 6 every year. This day serves a platform to raise awareness about CP, support those living with the condition and advocate for greater inclusion and understanding. Our class teacher Sreedevi Miss instructed as to conduct subject association activity on world cerebral palsy day. All the teacher trainees of our natural science class under the guidance from our Sreedevi Miss together planned how to conduct the activity.

We divided the duties among us. Anchoring was done by Nuju. An introduction of world CP was given by Bhavana. Theme of this year "#Uniquely CP" was shared by me. Akshaya shared the facts and statistics related to world CP day. Ameena made us aware about the ways of detecting Cerebral Palsy in early stage. Inspirational stories were shared by Aparna and Pooja shared the steps to take care and behave to person with Cerebral Palsy. A poster relating cerebral palsy presented by Muhsina and related symptoms were shared by Anuroop. Arya concluded the programme by Vote of thanks.

WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY
14-10-2024,Monday

World Mental Health Day is an international day to raise awareness about mental health and encourage support for people with mental health issues. It takes place every year on October 10. The theme for 2024 is "Mental Health at work". Pooja anchored the programme. Akshaya shared history of celebrating Mental Health day awareness of the importance of maintaining mental health was presented by Ameena. Arya shared significance of programme. I presented some meditation and yoga techniques which helps us to relieve our stress. Bhavana conducted a quiz session and theme was presented by Nuju. Aparna presented a poster on the importance of mental health, then Anuroop concluded the programme by thanking all.








SUBJECT ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY-8

WORLD ARTHRITIS DAY
15-10-2024,Tuesday

World Arthritis Day referred to as WAD is a global awareness day held every year on 12th October. For this years world arthritis day, the theme is "Informed choices, better outcomes". Anchoring was done by Bhavana. Awareness about arthritis day was shared by Nuju. Pooja shared an introduction of arthritis day. Aparna spread the information about arthritis. Causes and exercise to relief arthritis was shared by me. Anuroop conducted a quiz. Muhsina described about the types of arthririts. Arya shared stories of children living with arthritis. Ameena presented awareness pledge. Akshaya concluded the programme by vote of thanks.


SUBJECT ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY-9

WORLD FOOD DAY
16-10-2024,Wednesday

World food day is celebrated every year on 16 October to inspire people about healthy diets. This year world food day focus on the theme of the 'right to foods for a better future'. Aparna anchored the programme. Then started with a speech on world food day and speech was delivered by Pooja. Nuju shared us some nutrition tips and most of them were new to us. Arya shared some statistics related to food waste. World food day quiz was conducted by Anuroop. Theme of world food day of 2024 was shared by Ameena. Bhavana delivered a speech on food security. Akshaya shared some thoughts to reduce or to reuse food waste. Food policies were explained by Muhsina. I concluded the programme by vote of thanks.



SUBJECT ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY-10

NATIONAL CANCER AWARENESS DAY
07-11-2024,Thursday

On November 7th each year, India observes National Cancer Awareness day an initiative that aims to raise awareness about growing cancer burden in the country and inspire action towards prevention, early detection and treatment. The programme was anchored by Arya. History of the day was delivered by Akshaya and I myself presented the theme of National Cancer Awareness day. Nuju gives an introduction to the programme. Steps for the early detection of cancer was shared by Pooja. Ameena shared the ways of prevention. Common types of cancer was explained by Muhsina. Bhavana shared some statistics related to cancer. As Marie CUrie worked on impact of cancer treatment,her contributions were shared by Anuroop. Aparna concluded the programme by vote of thanks. Special thanks to Head of the Department Sreedevi Miss.
