SEPTEMBER 5, 2024

On September 5, our college celebrated Teacher's Day with immense respect and enthusiasm, honoring the invaluable contributions of educators in shaping young minds. The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Dr. G. Roy, and the teachers, symbolizing the beginning of a meaningful celebration. A heartfelt welcome speech by senior Salu set the tone, followed by a soulful school prayer. Aparna from the English Department shared the significance of Teacher's Day, and Gopikrishna highlighted the extraordinary life of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Speeches, a group song by Anjitha's team, a poem recital by Pooja, and a classical dance by Aiswarya and me added vibrance to the event.

The day also featured thoughtful activities like a video tribute by seniors, a quiz session by Abdul Latheef, and gaming activities arranged by the first-year students, which teachers joyfully participated in. Roses, handmade cards, and a token of appreciation for the Principal reflected the students’ gratitude. The event concluded with the distribution of payasam by the teachers, leaving everyone with sweet memories. It was a touching celebration that underscored the dedication and guidance of teachers, making the day a resounding success.

  TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
