INTERNATIONAL DAY OF EDUCATION CELEBRATION 

January 24,2025

On January 24th, Sabarigiri College of Education celebrated the International Day of Education as part of the NSS program. 

Jerin skillfully anchored the program, ensuring its smooth flow. Jaseena Miss delivered an insightful speech highlighting the significance of education and its role in shaping a better future. Bhavyasena presented an engaging poster display, visually reinforcing the theme of the event.The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp for the inauguration, symbolizing the light of knowledge. Jaseena Miss, along with student representatives, led this solemn moment, emphasizing the power of education in transforming lives.

The event featured a candle-lighting ceremony that further reinforced the importance of education in dispelling darkness and ignorance. Students held balloons inscribed with words such as 'Inequality,' 'Violence,' 'Persecution,' and 'Drug Abuse,' symbolizing societal challenges in education. These balloons were burst , representing the collective effort to eliminate these issues from society. The program concluded with a pledge-taking ceremony led by Aravind, where participants, holding candlelight, vowed to uphold the principles of education and work towards a more inclusive and knowledgeable society. The celebration was both inspiring and interactive, encouraging students and faculty to reflect on the transformative power of education.

  TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. This task was a new learning experience for me, as I wasn’t previously aware that a separate register existed specifically for noon feeding attendance. I successfully completed both registers. VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
