 MARTYRS' DAY CELEBRATION

On January 30th, Sabarigiri College of Education commemorated Martyrs' Day with a heartfelt and meaningful celebration. Martyrs' Day, observed annually, honors the brave souls who sacrificed their lives for the nation. This day is particularly significant as it marks the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi in 1948, reminding us of the values of truth, non-violence, and patriotism that he upheld.

The event began with the anchoring of the program by Revathy, who set the tone for the day with her insightful introductions and seamless coordination. The audience was then captivated by a moving speech delivered by Thoufeeka, who eloquently paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the martyrs for the nation's freedom. Her words resonated deeply, evoking a sense of gratitude and respect for those who laid down their lives for the country. The event also included a video presentation curated by Shamnad, which showcased historical footage and images, further amplifying the significance of Martyrs' Day. The video highlighted the struggles and heroic actions of the martyrs, helping to bring their sacrifices to life for the attendees. To add a touch of interactive engagement, a quiz session was organized by Anupama. The quiz not only tested the participants' knowledge of the martyrs and their contributions but also fostered a spirit of learning and reflection on the nation’s history.

Overall, the event was a poignant reminder of the valor and dedication of the martyrs, and it served as an opportunity for the students and faculty of Sabarigiri College of Education to honor their memory and reflect on the freedom they helped secure. The celebration was a fitting tribute to those who have given their all for the nation.

  TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
