 NATIONAL GIRL CHILD DAY CELEBRATION

On January 27, 2025, Sabarigiri College of Education celebrated National Girl Child Day to highlight the importance of empowering girls. National Girl Child Day is observed annually on 24th January aimed at promoting the rights, empowerment, and potential of girls across India. Theme: "Empowering Girls for a Bright Future" emphasizes equal opportunities for girls in education, healthcare, and personal growth. The event included speeches, a poster presentation, and a skit.

Anamika anchored the program, and Joysi gave a warm welcome. Aswathy spoke about the importance of the day, while Roy Sir explained its significance. Jaseena Miss shared inspiring stories of women who overcame challenges. Shinu presented a poster showing the struggles and triumphs of girls. A powerful skit portrayed a family where a girl child was seen as unwanted. The emotional performance highlighted gender bias and the need for change. Kripa gave the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all. The event was a strong reminder of the need to support and uplift every girl child.
