NATIONAL YOUTH DAY-NSS PROGRAM

 NATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION 

January 13, 2025

On January 13, 2025, our college celebrated National Youth Day in the general hall at 9:45 am. India celebrates January 12 as National Youth Day to mark the birth anniversary of spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda. Born on the day in 1863, he was one of the country's best authors and religious teachers. Swami Vivekananda's teachings continue to inspire young minds to strive for excellence and societal progress.

The program included various activities, starting with Vinitha's warm welcome as the anchor. Unnimaya delivered welcome speech. Anakha delivered an inspiring speech on the significance of the day, followed by Anupama's creative poster presentation and Thoufeeka's insightful slideshow. Revathy shared information on youth-related schemes, and Prathibha Miss concluded the event with an encouraging speech. The final segment was an engaging quiz competition conducted by Shamnad, with participants from all departments. Aiswarya and Pooja from physical science, Shinu and Ashna from Mathematics, Malavika and Bishnuja from English and Muhsina and myself from Natural science. Natural Science emerged as winners, with Mathematics as runners-up. Prathibha Miss and Shamla Miss awarded the prize.

  TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. This task was a new learning experience for me, as I wasn’t previously aware that a separate register existed specifically for noon feeding attendance. I successfully completed both registers. VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
