 WELCOMING 2025 WITH JOY AND LAUGHTER

We celebrated the year 2025 at Sabarigiri College of Education as the Druta Union and NSS organized a vibrant New Year celebration on January 1st. The program, held in the General Hall at 1:30 PM, brought together all teacher trainees and faculty members for an afternoon filled with fun, music, and camaraderie.

The event was anchored by Silla. Principal Roy Sir inaugurated the celebration with a heartwarming address, sharing New Year greetings and an inspiring motivational speech that set the tone for the day. Then a melodious performance by Ashna, whose song filled the hall with cheer. This was followed by a video presentation titled Glimpses of 2024: A Look Back. Compiled and presented by me, the video captured memorable moments of the past year, blending humor and nostalgia. Watching everyone laugh and enjoy the video was an overwhelming and gratifying experience. The musical spirit continued with a song by Reeba, leading into one of the highlights of the celebration: the "Secret Letter" session. Each teacher trainee penned down anonymous notes filled with humor, thoughtfulness, and kind wishes for their peers. The thrill of receiving and reading these heartfelt letters created a joyous and bonding experience. Adding to the celebration, students from the Natural Science department presented a group song, followed by a similar performance by the English department. Both performances showcased the talent and unity within our college. The event also featured a fun-filled gaming session, where participants had to guess film names through drawings on a board. The room was alive with laughter and creative guesses, making it an unforgettable activity.

The program concluded on a reflective note with greetings and closing remarks from Jaseena Miss and Sreedevi Miss. Sreedevi Miss shared a touching story that resonated deeply with everyone, leaving us inspired as we stepped into the New Year. Overall, the New Year celebration was a perfect blend of entertainment, reflection, and connection. It left us all feeling grateful for the memories of 2024 and hopeful for what 2025 has in store. With such a beautiful start, we look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and togetherness.

Our 5-day study tour from 3rd April to 8th April was a memorable journey filled with learning, exploration, and bonding.
