NATIONAL WOMENS DAY

CELEBRATING NATIONAL WOMENS DAY: HONOURING SAROJINI NAIDU

On February 13, 2025, we celebrated National Women’s Day in honor of Sarojini Naidu, the Nightingale of India. The program was anchored by Arjun. Suja started by explaining the importance of the day. Then, Anju, dressed as Sarojini Naidu, gave a speech, reminding us of her contributions. Shifana presented a PowerPoint, showing women’s achievements and challenges throughout history.

The program continued with a mime performance by Unnimaya, Stephy, Prathiba, Soorya, Lakshmi, Silla, and Gloria. They used their silent acting to express the struggles women face in society. This powerful performance made everyone reflect on the need for change. Malavika ended the event with the vote of thanks, appreciating everyone’s efforts. In the closing remarks, Arjun highlighted that women’s achievements should be celebrated every day. The event reminded us of the importance of equality and justice for all. National Women’s Day isn’t just about one day—it’s a call for action toward a fairer society.
