VALENTINES DAY CELEBRATION
VALENTINE'S DAY CELEBRATION - DRUTA UNION
Valentine's Day is a celebration of love, friendship, and togetherness, and this year, we marked the occasion with a delightful program at our college. The event took place in the general hall at 9:45 am, with teachers, seniors, and first-year students gathering to enjoy the festivities.
The program was anchored by Ammu Lekshmi, who kept the energy high and the audience engaged throughout. The celebration began with a beautiful fusion of romantic songs, performed by Pooja, Reeba, Anju, Ashna, Prathibha, and me. The melodies created an enchanting atmosphere, setting the perfect tone for the day. Following the musical performance, some students took the stage to share their personal Valentine's Day experiences. Their heartfelt stories added a touch of warmth and connection, making the event even more special.
Next, our senior Reshma captivated the audience with her soulful voice, singing a beautiful song that resonated with everyone present. The musical journey continued with Akshaya and me performing a dance, adding rhythm and movement to the celebration. The energy in the hall was infectious, with everyone cheering and enjoying the performances. Another senior then took the stage for one more melodious song, keeping the spirit of love and joy alive.
After the performances, it was time for the most exciting part of the event – the gaming session. A box filled with shuffled questions was passed around, and each participant picked a question to ask someone who could answer it. The game was a huge hit, filled with fun, laughter, and spontaneous responses. Many students enthusiastically shared their unique and humorous experiences, making it a memorable and joyous occasion.
The Valentine's Day celebration was a perfect blend of music, dance, storytelling, and fun. It was a reminder that love exists in many forms – among friends, mentors, and the community we cherish. The event concluded with smiles all around, leaving us with beautiful memories to hold onto.
HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY.
