NATIONAL SAFETY DAY CELEBRATION

National Safety Day, observed annually on March 4, was celebrated at Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal, on March 7, 2025. The event aimed to create awareness about safety measures in various aspects of life, including workplace safety, road safety, and general well-being. Organized under the banner of NSS, the program featured thought-provoking speeches, creative poster presentations, an insightful PPT session, and an interactive quiz, ensuring an engaging and informative experience for all participants.

The event was anchored by Riya, who guided the proceedings with enthusiasm. The welcome address was delivered by Amrutha, who highlighted the significance of National Safety Day and the need for a culture of precaution and preparedness. The union chairman, Unnimaya, delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the importance of adhering to safety protocols and the role of individuals in ensuring both personal and community safety. Ashna then delivered a speech, discussing various safety measures and their relevance in daily life, urging everyone to be more responsible and proactive in preventing accidents.

A poster exhibition presented by Kripa visually conveyed crucial safety messages, showcasing creative and informative posters on different aspects of safety. This was followed by a PowerPoint presentation by Aswathy, which provided in-depth insights into workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and precautionary measures. To further engage participants, Joysi conducted a quiz competition, testing their knowledge of safety practices. The enthusiastic participation made the session both educational and interactive, reinforcing the importance of being well-informed about safety.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Anamika, who expressed gratitude to the speakers, participants, and organizers for making the event a success. She acknowledged everyone's efforts in spreading awareness and fostering a culture of safety. The National Safety Day celebration successfully combined learning with interaction, leaving participants with a deeper understanding of safety measures and inspiring them to prioritize safety in their daily lives and communities.
