CELEBRATING WORLD HAPPINESS DAY 

On March 20, 2025, Sabarigiri College of Education celebrated World Happiness Day with an event full of joy and laughter. Silla anchored the programme. The celebration started with the inauguration of the Happiness Wall by our Principal, Dr. Roy Sir. This wall became a creative space where both teachers and trainees wrote down inspiring quotes about happiness, which brightened the mood for everyone. It was a wonderful way to kick off the event, with a positive and uplifting start.

The event continued with beautiful performances by teacher trainees, who sang cheerful and soulful songs. One of the performances by Ashna set the tone for the day with a lively introduction, followed by Prathibha's soulful rendition that captured everyone's attention. These performances added a special warmth to the day, making everyone smile and feel connected to the spirit of happiness. Along with the songs, Jaseena Miss delivered an insightful speech that reminded us of the importance of embracing happiness in our daily lives. A funny video was presented which included some funny moments of all teacher trainees of our batch. It was a great laughing moment.

Another highlight of the event was the Happiness Award Ceremony, where humorous and fun awards like the "Best Comedian Among Us" were given out. This light-hearted ceremony had everyone in splits, as it celebrated the laughter and camaraderie of the group. The laughter continued during a fun-filled game where participants had to identify characters from famous funny movies. It was a great way to engage everyone, and the competition was filled with laughter and joy. The entire atmosphere was one of warmth and fun, and it was clear that the event had brought the college community closer together.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Silla, expressing gratitude to all those who made the day possible. The event was a perfect reminder of the simple joys in life, leaving everyone with beautiful memories of laughter, music, and fun. The World Happiness Day celebration at Sabarigiri College was truly a day to remember, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces and filling the campus with positive energy.

  TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
