READING DAY

National Reading Day in India is celebrated on June 19th annually to commemorate the death anniversary of P.N. Panicker, the "Father of the Library Movement" in Kerala, and to promote reading and literacy. The week following Reading Day is also celebrated as Reading Week.

As part of the celebration we conducted a programme at general hall. All student teachers shared their favourite books to other and gave a description about the book.
