Freshers' Day Aagamanam - A Warm Welcome to Our Juniors!

On August 25, 2025, our college, Sabarigiri College of Education, was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed our juniors with a grand Freshers' Day celebration, themed "Aagamana." We seniors divided ourselves into various committees - decoration, food, program, and cleaning - to ensure everything went smoothly. I was part of the decoration committee, and we transformed the general hall into a movie bazaar theatre ambiance.

We decorated the entrance with a warm welcome message and Mollywood-themed dialogues that set the tone for the event. The stage was designed to resemble a movie set, complete with balloon-made popcorn and a clapboard. The entire hall was decked up to create a fantastic ambiance. On Monday, our juniors arrived dressed as their favorite movie characters, and we kicked off the program at 10 am. Our Principal, Roy Sir, and staff representative, Sreedevi Miss, shared inspiring words to welcome the juniors. The program featured energetic dance performances by Ashna and Soorya, followed by a banner reveal with the event's name.

The highlight of the event was when junior pairs enacted their favorite movie scenes, bringing the house down with laughter. More dance performances, a soulful song by Ashna, and fun games organized by Pooja kept the energy levels high. Our teachers encouraged the students throughout, and the pièce de résistance was a dance performance by Sarath from the juniors, which got all of us seniors dancing along! After a delicious biryani lunch, the program continued, and we concluded the event with an awards ceremony. Roy Sir presented gifts to the best act, best pair, best timing, best performance, and more. By 3 pm, the program came to a close, leaving behind memories that we'll cherish forever.

  TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
