WEEKEND REFLECTION - Week 6

This Sunday, September 14, 2025, the Natural Science Department of Sabarigiri College of Education held its weekly reflection meeting via Google Meet from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM. This session marked the sixth week of our teaching practice.

The meeting was a chance for all of us to connect and share our experiences. Miss went around to each school group, asking us to update everyone on our class schedules and teaching plans. It was interesting to hear that many of us are facing similar challenges, especially not getting enough class time because of various school programs.  Many students expressed that they were unable to get enough classes to finish the planned portions due to co-curricular activities in their schools, such as Sports Day celebrations, cultural fests, and PTA meetings. After discussing our completed work and upcoming submission deadlines, our teacher gave us an important new instruction: to prepare and conduct an achievement test on September 29. The meeting wrapped up after she patiently answered all our questions.

  TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. A VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL AND REHABILITATION CENTER

VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
