GENERAL REFLECTION WEEK 4

WEEKEND GENERAL REFLECTION: 

Week 4

On 1st November 2025, Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal conducted a General Reflection Session from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. under the presence of Principal Roy Sir and other faculty members. The session began with the Principal inquiring about the well-being of the students. Following this, students from various schools shared their experiences, classroom observations, school activities, and challenges faced during the teaching practice. Participants included Aravind and Anamika (Vayala School), Riya (West School), Devika (Karavaloor School), Gopika (Karukone School), Keerthi (Puthayam School), Haseena (St. Goretti, Punalur), Akshara and Arya (Poredom School), Anakha (Yeroor School), Kripa (Edamulakal Jawahar School), and Alaka (Ayoor Jawahar School). Each shared valuable insights and reflections from their teaching experience. Afterwards, Sreedevi Miss provided instructions regarding third-semester works, upcoming fourth-semester project tasks, and the timely completion of pending assignments. The programme concluded with optional classes for work submission and further guidance, and the session ended at 1:30 p.m.

  RAISING AWARENESS ON INTERNATIONAL EPILEPSY DAY On February 12, 2025, Sabarigiri College of Education celebrated International Epilepsy Day, a global event aimed at raising awareness about epilepsy. The program began with Arathi as the anchor, welcoming everyone and setting the tone for the day’s activities. Aparna delivered an insightful speech, explaining epilepsy as a neurological condition that affects people of all ages and backgrounds, making them prone to recurrent seizures.   TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : Monday (04/08/2025) to Friday (08/08/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 04/08/2025-Day 17 On the 17th day of my first phase of teaching practice, I reached the school by 9:00 am. After reporting to the office and signing the attendance register, I took up my assigned discipline duty in the High School section. Following the morning prayer, we settled in our allotted rooms. Since it was Monday, I did not have any subject hours scheduled. A little later, my concerned subject teacher, Renija Miss, entrusted me with the responsibility of completing the attendance register and the Noon Feeding attendance register for her class. A VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL AND REHABILITATION CENTER

VISIT TO BUDS SCHOOL – A HEARTWARMING EXPERIENCE January 30,2025 As part of our NSS activities, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buds School at Alayamon Panchayat. It was an enriching and entertaining experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. We, a group of 43 NSS volunteers along with our teachers Jaseena Miss, Sreedevi Miss, and Prathibha Miss, traveled to the school . We reached the school at 10:30 AM and were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers. Due to space constraints, we arranged the seating outside, ensuring a comfortable setup for all. Our friend Aravind introduced us to the students, and soon we learned about their remarkable achievements. Many of them had participated in Kalolsavam and won great honors, proving their exceptional talents.
