GENERAL REFLECTION - FINAL

Final General Reflection – November 20, 2025

Our final general reflection was held on November 20, 2025, starting at 10:30 a.m. in the General Hall.
The session began with Prathibha from Sabarigiri School, who shared her overall school experience and the lessons she gained during her teaching practice. Next, Ammu Lekshmi from Edamulackal School reflected on her teaching practice, especially highlighting her encounters with students’ behavioral problems and how those experiences gave her valuable insights.

Following her, Akshaya from Karukone School presented her reflection. I, too, had many memorable experiences from my teaching practice at Karukone School — the teachers and the Headmaster were very welcoming throughout, and on the final day, we were given a heartfelt farewell. For me, Teaching Practice Phase 1 was a learning period, while Phase 2 made me feel like a real teacher. I truly miss the students, their playful clumsiness, and even the busy, over-stressed days that came with it.

After that, Bhavya from Puthayam shared many positive experiences, followed by Anupama from Karavaloor School, who expressed her reflections. Summaya from Ayur Jawahar School also spoke about her meaningful moments, while Thoufeeka from Poredom VVHSS described her teaching experiences. Lekshmi from West GHSS shared a mix of funny and serious incidents from her time at school. Arya from Yeroor GHSS and Shinu from St. Goretti School, Punalur also recounted their journeys. Finally, Anuroop from Vayala GHSS presented his reflection, receiving appreciation from teachers for his noticeable improvement in teaching and class management skills.

The entire reflection session beautifully showcased how each teacher trainee gained rich and valuable experiences throughout more than 70 days of teaching practice. The program concluded by 12:00 p.m., leaving everyone inspired and nostalgic.
