DAY 3- COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP
Day 3 of Community Living Camp and NSS Camp
Date: 11-01-2026 (Sunday)
Day 3 of the NSS and Community Living Camp
followed a disciplined and systematic routine. The day began at 5.30 am with
wake up, followed by tea from 5.45 am to 6.15 am. From 6.15 am to 7.15 am, a
Yoga/Zumba session was conducted, which helped the volunteers stay energetic
and refreshed. This was followed by fresh up and breakfast from 7.15 am to 8.30
am.
The morning assembly and reflection session on
the experiences of Day 2 was held from 8.45 am to 9.30 am. From 9.30 am to 1.00
pm, a Community Health Camp (Jeevamrutham) was conducted, hosted by Sabarigiri
Multi-speciality Hospital, Anchal. The camp was highly beneficial to the local
community, providing medical check-ups and health guidance. Lunch was served
from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm.
In the afternoon, from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm, the
volunteers actively participated in cleaning activities at Manasa Gramam,
contributing to cleanliness and environmental hygiene. A tea break and fresh up
were arranged from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm, followed by community prayer from 6.35
pm to 7.15 pm.
The evening session from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm was
dedicated to “Relax and Recharge” with a nature documentary screening, which
created awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability. Dinner
was served from 9.30 pm to 10.30 pm, and the day concluded with lights off at
10.45 pm. Overall, the day was productive and service-oriented, strengthening
the volunteers’ sense of social responsibility and environmental awareness.
