DAY 4- COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP

Day 4 of Community Living Camp and NSS Camp

Date: 12-01-2026 (Monday)

 Day 4 of the NSS and Community Living Camp began early in the morning with wake up at 5.30 am, followed by tea. The morning session included Yoga and Zumba, which helped the volunteers refresh both physically and mentally. After freshening up and having breakfast, an assembly and reflection session was held, where the activities of Day 3 were reviewed and reflected upon.

From 9.30 am to 1.00 pm, a theatre workshop titled Thrillorama was conducted by R. Kiran Bodhi, Assistant Professor, St. Cyril’s College, Adoor. The session was highly engaging and interactive, helping participants explore creativity, expression, and teamwork through theatre activities. This was followed by lunch from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm.

In the afternoon, from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm, a vocational education class on mushroom cultivation was organized for the members of Manasa Gramam. The session was led by Sangeetha, former student of Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal, and Swayam Thozhil Sarmambhaka, Pallimon Gramam. The class provided practical knowledge and encouraged self-employment opportunities among the community members. After a tea break and fresh up session, a community prayer was held in the evening.

From 7.45 pm onwards, a cultural programme was conducted, showcasing various performances and promoting cultural unity and community bonding. The day concluded with dinner from 9.30 pm to 10.30 pm, followed by lights off at 10.15 pm. Overall, Day 4 was enriching and productive, combining physical activities, skill development, cultural engagement, and community interaction.
