DAY 5- COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP
Date: 13-01-2026 (Tuesday)
Day 5 of the NSS and Community Living Camp began
at 5.30 am with wake up, followed by tea. The morning session included Yoga and
Zumba, which energized the volunteers for the day ahead. After freshening up
and having breakfast, an assembly and reflection session was held from 8.45 am
to 9.30 am, focusing on the activities and experiences of Day 4.
From 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, the volunteers
participated in a community visit, which provided an opportunity to interact
with the local residents and understand their lifestyle, needs, and challenges.
This session helped strengthen the bond between the volunteers and the
community. Lunch was served from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm.
In the afternoon, from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm, a
personality development class was conducted by Anson P. D. Alexander. The
session was insightful and motivating, focusing on personal growth, confidence
building, and effective communication skills. After the tea break and fresh up
session, a community prayer was held in the evening.
From 7.45 pm onwards, a cultural programme was
organized, providing a platform for volunteers to showcase their talents and
encouraging unity and teamwork. The day concluded with dinner from 9.30 pm to
10.30 pm, followed by lights off at 10.45 pm. Overall, Day 5 was meaningful and
enriching, contributing to the personal development of the volunteers and
strengthening community relationships.
