DAY 6- COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP
Day 6 of Community Living Camp and NSS Camp
Date: 14-01-2026 (Wednesday)
Day 6 of the NSS and Community Living Camp
began at 5.30 am with wake up, followed by tea. The morning session included
Yoga and Zumba, which helped the volunteers stay active and focused. After
freshening up and having breakfast, an assembly and reflection session was
conducted from 8.45 am to 9.30 am, reflecting on the experiences of Day 5.
From 9.30 am to 1.00 pm, a Fire and Rescue
Awareness Class was organized. The session was informative and practical,
creating awareness about safety measures, emergency response, and disaster
preparedness among the volunteers. Lunch was served from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm.
In the afternoon, from 2.15 pm to 4.30 pm, an
interactive talk session was conducted by Dr. Noufal N., Assistant Professor,
Sree Narayana Guru Open University. The session was engaging and
thought-provoking, encouraging participants to actively interact and gain
valuable insights. This was followed by a tea break and fresh up session.
In the evening, a community prayer was held
from 6.45 pm to 7.30 pm. From 7.45 pm onwards, cultural programmes were
organized, featuring a musical night by Symphony Beats. The performances
created a lively and joyful atmosphere, strengthening unity and camaraderie
among the volunteers and the community. The day concluded with dinner from 9.30
pm to 10.30 pm, followed by lights off at 10.45 pm. Overall, Day 6 was informative,
engaging, and enjoyable, balancing awareness sessions, learning, and cultural
celebration.
