CLASS ON ART AND AESTHETIC EDUCATION 21 NOVEMBER 2025 As part of B.Ed curriculum of art education, there was a class regarding the composition of songs and about writing a poem.  K Bhuvanendran Mangalapuram ,  a famous poet and writer had taken a class on November 21,2025 regarding how to compose songs to teach the subject matter concerned. It was a wonderful class and a different experience. The student teachers sit in groups accordingly to their optional subjects and created different songs regarding different topics. Natural science department created  a song regarding  " PHOTOSYNTHESIS" in malayalam and presented it. We named the poem 'Illakaliley mayajalam'.Other departments also created a poem regarding their subject related topics. This class helped us to understand on how to take a class creatively.

Final General Reflection – November 20, 2025 Our final general reflection was held on November 20, 2025, starting at 10:30 a.m. in the General Hall. The session began with Prathibha from Sabarigiri School , who shared her overall school experience and the lessons she gained during her teaching practice. Next, Ammu Lekshmi from Edamulackal School reflected on her teaching practice, especially highlighting her encounters with students’ behavioral problems and how those experiences gave her valuable insights. Following her, Akshaya from Karukone School presented her reflection. I, too, had many memorable experiences from my teaching practice at Karukone School — the teachers and the Headmaster were very welcoming throughout, and on the final day, we were given a heartfelt farewell. For me, Teaching Practice Phase 1 was a learning period, while Phase 2 made me feel like a real teacher. TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 2- WEEK 7   ( 17/11/2025,Monday - 19/11/2025,Wednesday) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE DAY 30: MONDAY,21/11/2025 On the 30th day of our teaching practice, we four teacher trainees reached the school by 9:30 a.m., signed the attendance register, and went to the staffroom allotted to us. During the 4th period, I got substitution in Class 8B, where I presented my innovative work. It was a fun and engaging session. My innovative work was titled “Forest Election” , which included all election procedures. I prepared materials such as a ballot box, candidates’ posters, ballot papers, and election ID cards for animals and birds. First, I gave the students clear guidelines for the forest election: Every voter must possess an Election ID Card showing their full taxonomic address, including their Scientific Name. TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 2- WEEK 6 (10/11/2025,Monday - 14/11/2025,Friday) Day 25 – Monday, 10-11-2025 We teacher trainees reached the school by 9:30 a.m. The school was bustling with the activities of the Sub-District Youth Festival. Many of the high school teachers were on leave due to the 10th standard tour, so we handled several substitutions in both upper primary and high school sections. During the second period, I had a substitution in my concerned class, 9B, where I taught the topic “Steps in Haemodialysis.” At 11:00 a.m., I got an opportunity to conduct an awareness class for adolescent girls on Menstrual Hygiene and Nutrition during Menstruation as part of my project work. Thirty girls from the 9th standard attended the session. The class was very engaging — I used a PowerPoint presentation and interactive activities to make it interesting. TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 5: Monday (03/11/2025 ) and Friday (07/10/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE Day 20, Monday, 03/11/2025 We four teacher trainees reached the school by 9:30 a.m. We signed the attendance register and seated ourselves in the allotted staffroom. I got a substitution in Class 1 to teach Mathematics during second period. I asked the students to write numbers and then gave them some addition and subtraction problems. They were so brilliant—it was really fun spending time with them. Fourth period i got substitution in concerned class 9B and taught  External structure of kidney. During lunch break, we served lunch to the students. After lunch, our Physical Education teacher, Aadil Sir, came for class observation. We were all prepared for it. We took permission from the concerned subject teachers and shared classes. WEEKEND GENERAL REFLECTION:  Week 4 On 1st November 2025, Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal conducted a General Reflection Session from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. under the presence of Principal Roy Sir and other faculty members. The session began with the Principal inquiring about the well-being of the students. Following this, students from various schools shared their experiences, classroom observations, school activities, and challenges faced during the teaching practice. Participants included Aravind and Anamika (Vayala School), Riya (West School), Devika (Karavaloor School), Gopika (Karukone School), Keerthi (Puthayam School), Haseena (St. Goretti, Punalur), Akshara and Arya (Poredom School), Anakha (Yeroor School), Kripa (Edamulakal Jawahar School), and Alaka (Ayoor Jawahar School). TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4: Monday (27/10/2025 ) and Friday (31/10/2025) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE Day 15 – Monday, October 27th, 2025 We reached the school by 9:30 a.m., signed the attendance register, and seated ourselves in the allotted staffroom. I didn’t have any class during the first period. In the second period, I had a substitution in my concerned class 8B and taught the topic “Five Kingdom Classification and Its Advantages.” During the third period, I supervised the students’ dance practice. During lunch break, we served lunch to the students. After lunch, Aiswarya and I taught a group song to the 3rd standard students for the upcoming Kalolsavam . We also discussed with the UP teacher about deciding the costumes, makeup, and accessories for their performance. After the national anthem, the school dispersed, and once all students had left, we also signed the attendance register and left the school.
