SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME DAY- 5 OCTOBER 25,2024 Today was the last day of our school induction program at GHSS Jawahar, Ayoor. It was a rainy day. As usual we reached school by 9.30 AM. We signed the attendance register and checked in with the concerned teacher about todays class schedule. In the mean time , Jaseena Miss of our college visited school to observe our senior trainees. So we had the pleasure of meeting her and shared our experiences with her. REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE At 10:00 AM, the prayer started, marking the beginning of class time. Today was our last day at school. We had two observation classes with the subject teacher. By 12:45 PM, the lunch break began and we served lunch to the students. Today's meal included rice, tapioca and chicken curry. We also got to eat with them and food was delicious.   SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME DAY-4 OCTOBER 24,2024 Today was fourth day of school induction at GHSS Jawahar Ayoor. We arrived school at 9.30 AM. We signed our attendance in the attendance register and then proceed to the classroom assigned for us. REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE At 9:45 AM all the students students and teachers assembled in the school ground for assembly, which is conducted only on Thursdays. We joined them as well. The students of class 10A led the assembly, starting with a prayer. Following that, there was a pledge, a thought of the day, newspaper reading and an interesting quiz. Afterward, HM Deepa miss spoke about the importance of discipline and cleanliness. Four students of the school were appreciated for achieving outstanding grades in Shasthramela and received medals from HM. During 4th period we conducted a shared class for class 8.   SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME DAY-3 OCTOBER 23,2024 Each day brings new experiences and connections. Today marked the third day of school induction at GHSS Jawahar Ayoor. We arrived at school at 9.25 AM, signed the attendance register and checked in with the concerned teacher about our class schedule for the day. REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE The day started with school choir singing a prayer at 10 AM, creating a beautiful atmosphere. Afterward, we approached Honey Miss, concerned subject teacher, to discuss scheduling a class period for our shared lesson. She assured us that she would make the necessary arrangements. At 12:45 PM, the bell rang for lunch break. As part of the Midday Meal Program, we served lunch to the students, which today included rice, thoran and boiled egg curry. SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME DAY-2 October 22,2024 Today was the second day of our school visit. We arrived GHSS Jawahar School in Ayoor at 9.10 AM. We marked attendance at 9:30 AM and took our seats in the allotted room. The headmistress Deepa miss was absent today. REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE At 10:00 AM, the school choir sang the morning prayer. After that, we met with the subject teacher to inquire about the class schedule for the day. However, due to a tight schedule, we didn't have the opportunity to observe or conduct any classes. Today was a students birthday, so she distributed chocolates and we extended our birthday wishes to her. Then we inquired at the school office about the school's profile to collect details on its facilities and resources.   SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAM-DAY 1 October 21,2024 Today was our first day of the school induction program. We arrived at GHSS Jawahar school,Ayoor at 9:15 AM as a group of six teacher trainees: myself(Arathi.B.G) and Akshaya from the Natural science option;Ashna Reji and Ashwathy from the Mathematics option; and Alaka and Summaya from the Physical science option. Ashna Reji was our leader. We approached the school Headmistress's room and our leader handed over the request from our college along with the attendance register to the HM Deepa miss. Deepa miss gave us some instructions and asked the school peon to clean the room near the staff room for us. We signed the register and settled into the allotted room. In the meantime, our Sreedevi Miss came to school to observe the senior teacher trainees, giving us opportunity to receive some advice from her as well.   SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME School Induction is a program designed to help beginning teachers to bridge the gap between teaching as a student teacher and as a responsible teacher who works for students. The sole purpose of Initiatory school experience is to give student-teachers hands-on experience in a school. This program lasts five days, allowing trainees to get familiar with the school environment and school activities. During this time, student-teachers will observe lessons from senior teachers, meet students to learn about their backgrounds and interests, check out learning facilities, and observe the school's social atmosphere. Each student-teacher has to engage 3 lessons individually or as Shared Practice. Student-teachers must keep a detailed diary of their experiences. After the school experience, there will be a reflection session at the college.   UNION ELECTION DAY  October 18,2024  UNION ELECTION 2024-25 The Union Election was conducted on October 18,2024,in the General hall, starting at 9.45 am and concluding at 11 am. Since the election was held for the position of chairman only ,the procedures were brief. Before the election began , Dr.Roy , the principal of Sabarigiri College of Education Anchal, introduced the candidates , explained the election procedures and offered his best wishes to them. Our Sreedevi Miss provided additional instructions regarding the election process. The nominees for the chairperson position were Unnimaya Prathap and Shifana Shabeer. As voting started we enter the general hall in order. voters marked their choices on the ballet sheets and placed them in ballet box. The results were announced by Principal Roy sir at 10:45 AM.
