  AIDS DAY AWARNESS 29 NOVEMBER 2024 November 29, 2024, we, the students of Sabarigiri College of Education, observed an AIDS Awareness Day program under the guidance of the NSS unit. The highlight of the day was a street play at Anchal Chandamuk bus stand emphasizing the importance of AIDS awareness and its consequences, scripted by our peer Shifana. A total of 39 teacher trainees, including myself, actively participated in the performance. The story revolved around a family where the husband, who led an irresponsible life involving alcohol and extramarital relationships, contracted AIDS. Despite his deteriorating health, his wife remained a supportive caregiver for him and their two children. Unfortunately, she also contracted the disease from her husband. The husband's neglect led to the progression of his illness, culminating in his death, which the community mistakenly attributed to alcoholism.  Tragedy struck again when the youngest child, still breastfeeding, succumbed ...

OUR CONSTITUTION,OUR PRIDE: CELEBRATING CONSTITUTION DAY  NOVEMBER 26, 2024 November 26, our constitution Day, was observed on behalf on NSS unit at 9:45 am in college hall. This day commemorates the adoption of our Indian Constitution on November 26, 1949. Our Constitution is a cornerstone of our democracy, enshrining the principles of justice, equality and liberty. The program was anchored by Pooja. Revathy read out the Preamble of constitution, while Vineetha led the pledge. Shamnad conducted an engaging quiz on the constitution, which saw enthusiastic participation from Revathy,Anakha,Alaka,Nuju,Muhsina and myself. The program also included a group song. Aravind concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks. The program captured the essence of constitution day.

  SUBJECT ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY Subject activity helps the students to know about the importance of the subject. These activities provides co-operation among the students participated in these activities. It helps to develop the creativity of the students. The students will get an organizational capacity. These activities give new knowledge about the subject and give information about various things. Subject association activity contain a collection of activities from a global library that would be performed on a common subject. Students learn through their participation and processing it by solving problem and articulating what they have discussed. This will help a lot in developing self confidence and presentation skills.   INAGURATION OF IQAC CELL 22 NOVEMBER, 2024 On 22nd November 2024, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was inaugurated at the General Hall of Sabarigiri College of Education. This initiative marked a significant step in fostering the academic, personal, and emotional growth of students through a structured counseling program. The event highlighted the vital role of IQAC Counseling in addressing students' concerns like stress, anxiety, and academic challenges, while promoting holistic development and well-being.  The program commenced with Anchor Keerthi , who invited me, Arathi , to deliver the welcome speech .   AMICOVOX  THE VOICE OF PEDAGOGUES 24.26 22 NOVEMBER 2024 The inauguration of the Amicovox Radio Station took place on November 22, 2024, at 9:45 AM in the General Hall. The idea for the radio station was first proposed by the first-year B.Ed. students on behalf of the College Union, Druta, with the goal of encouraging entertainment activities and bringing every student to the forefront of communication. The event began with an introduction by the anchor, Silla, who welcomed Prathibha Miss to unveil the name of our radio station, alongside Principal Roy Sir. The creative decorations for the event were done by Ammulekshmi. RASAMAYAM NOVEMBER 18,2024 We held a food fest named "Rasamayam" in our college, in association with Druta Union and NSS. The event was successfully planned and executed with five groups, each consisting of 11 members. Each group showcased innovative ideas, making the festival a vibrant and enjoyable experience. Our team, Vadakkini, included members Shifana, Arjun, Arya, Joysi, Jerin, Ameena, Summaya, and Shinu. We cooked a variety of dishes from home, including samosa, pidi, chicken curry, gobi manchurian, tomato rice, chocolate cake, halwa, lemon pickle, ambazhanga pickle, and mint lime juice. But we made it more fun by naming our dishes with places names at first like Panachavila gobi manchuri, Chadayamangal chicken curry,Nagarur pickle.We set up our name "Vadakkini" using paper and glued in coconut leaf braided—a contribution made by me—and also created a welcoming banner using coconut leaves.   Children's Day Celebration at Sabarigiri College of Education 14 NOVEMBER,2024 T oday, we celebrated Children's Day on behalf of NSS at the General Hall of Sabarigiri College of Education at 11:15 AM. We made all the necessary arrangements and invited the principal, teachers, and non-teaching staff to be a part of the program. Then, I (Arathi) was invited to present a PowerPoint presentation on the importance of Children's Day and share some interesting facts. Next, a Quiz Competition was held, conducted by Prathibha. The contestants included Ashwathy, Anamika, Shamnad, Anakha, Gloria, Stephy, Jerin, Devika, Ameena, and me.   A DAY AS AN NSS VOLUNTEER AT SUBDISTRICT KALOLSAVAM 11 NOVEMBER 2024 Today , we the students of Sabarigiri college of Education, had the opportunity to serve as NSS Volunteers at GHSS Anchal East School for the Subdistrict Kalolsavam. A total of 52 teacher trainees, including myself, arrived at the school by 8:45 AM, as instructed by our NSS coordinator, Jaseena Ma'am. After gathering at a designated corner, we marked our attendance and collected our badges. We the had a quick photo session with the school authorities before receiving instructions for our duties.   UNION AND ARTS CLUB INAUGURATION 2024-25 The inauguration of the Union and Arts Club of Sabarigiri college of Education, was held on November 1, 2024 in college General hall. The program was conducted by college union members and started at 10:00 AM. The program was welcomed by anchors Ammulekshmi and Akshara, starting with a prayer sung by Aiswarya, followed by welcome dance performed by me(Arathi). Our guests were Dr. Jayakumar and Vineeth Elamadu, known for his role in Flowers Comedy Utsavam. Dr. Roy G, our principal, delivered the welcome speech. Dr.V.K.Jayakumar, founder and chairman of the Sabarigiri Group, lit the lamp and inaugurated the ceremony, accompanied by Roy Sir, Miss Sreedevi , guest Vineeth Elamdu, Chairperson Unnimaya, General Secretary Anju and Arts Club Secretary Soorya.
